I finally got a new PSU for my system,the corsair VX450W for 4K
My HDD blew up twice using a 300W PSU(Came with my old cabinet 4 yrs ago - el cheapos :rofl:)

Talk about that, I got mine for 3.15K:D(lowest rate for VX450)
 
VX450 @ 4k for that kind of rig? Man thats an overkill seriously. Gigabyte Pro 460W at 2.2K would have been more than enough! Congo anyways :D

Congrats !! Both to you and myself. :D Guess what, I too got a VX450 this afternoon and together with the new 4770 I am just flying. :D Already hit the 12.5k mark on 3D mark'06 with a X2 550. :)

P.S. - My 4770 is currently running @ 8x speed. The assembler where I bought the rig forgot to give me the paddle card (shadow card) which is necessary to run cards @ 16x for Biostar crossfire capable mobo. :( DAMN !!!
