Well I was on the market for a budget camera. Came across a Lumix FZ8.
Since I am an amateur and this would be my forst digital camera seemed like a good buy.So got it. :hap2: :hap2:
Also the price was tempting..
All inclusive 10500...
+ sandisk 2gb 400 bucks :p :rofl:
Total :10900 :hap2: :hap2:

You must excuse the pic quality...I am still learning..

congrats dude!!

i see noise in the images and the last pic looks like a focussing problem[box edges]??

noticed such distortion even with the canon 590IS...and must say thats the reason i am not yet upgrading from my very old canon A400 :)
 
Congrats on the purchase. I have the same one, and I'm sure you won't regret for getting this. Its a good cam..! Good to see that it still sells above the 10K mark. I bought the same for 12K more than a year ago.. :D

@Tron: I believe the last pics of the cam box are from his mobile cam.
