You are too blind in your arrogance to see that the first reaction of Mephistopheles was a reaction of someone who feel that he can sh*t all over members just because his name appears green. It's the attitude man, not whether he realized his mistake or not.

And I can understand how and why your are defending him... A mod with two rep greenies (goes on to show how much he has done for members here) and a joining date of 2009 (goes on to show how much he is familiar with the community here) But no doubt, you made him a mod. You are defending as much as you as him.

The mods without common sense and decency!

This community has gone to dogs (go read some idioms before taking offense). I have given so much to the community here and still love doing it because I like this place... but of course TE pities that it has a member like me... ah, piss off.

@hatter: The first reaction might have been of arrogance (which I'm sure it was not, BTW), but doesn't everyone deserve the chance to realize their mistakes and apologize and correct oneself? Meph did that exactly after he was pointed his mistake with regard to attitude in that thread as well as in the mod section; why should anyone again bring up that issue? Doesn't that mean that you don't give a damn to his apology?

Well, you had your say, and I'll lock this thread too (FYI, I locked the earlier thread too). Anything more, please PM me. I think too much of thought has already gone into the issue. Let's forget it and get back to the routine stuff.
