No. Your "rights" haven't been curbed.
Market threads that do not have a reply for a specified amount of time (2 months I guess) get auto closed. You could create a new thread, or bump it up once in a while to keep it open.
About the other post, I guess it was deleted coz you had already mentioned about that bug earlier in the thread.

Umm OK thanks , but why no reply or anything done about that "bug"
 
What was the bug?

If you are talking about entire post showing in mails then we disabled it for multiple reasons including the one you suspect. I remember posting it somewhere, security was one of the reasons I remember.
