N95 masks - from 3m or others

Hello,

I was surfing through amazon and found out good variety of marks available in the website.

There's pack of 10/20/30 or even some combo packs with gloves/sanitizer etc.

I would like to take your guys help too in finding the best one's available with the affordable price so that we guys can order via kmd.

What you guys think ?

For Example :

KMD is out of city till Thursday and I am sure, it would take minimum of 20 days to get these. It would be better if we can find them locally as 3M is available here also.

how much sure you are about that ? did a swine flu infected person sneezed nearby while u had hanky over your mouth ?

although i'm getting sms like put nilgiri oil over the hanky.

what nonsense... n95 is certified and has some standards.

^^pls refrain from stating products which havenot been certified by any reliable authority.

N95 is recommended and that shd be the thing to be mentioned and advised.
i reckon ur sanitizer was bought for protection and similar intention of urs is behind while u mention abt it here but until n unless there is any solid backing of any Medical Body do not put things in here randomly.
This is a request to all the fellow members.

This whole situation is pretty dicey and any sch product wil only clutter ppl's mind to some extent or the other.
A logical and calculated approach is all what ppl should try to obtain to tackle and see this time period through.

i would say if anyone has a doctor friend ask them to source.....

My friends bro is a doc and he is getting it for 105 buks......i said i m ready to pay upto 140 if he can source it to me..and for profit stuff i even said i need 10...but he said atmost 2-3 extra he can source for me...as even for docs their is some limit..and he need to show he is sourcing for his family
 
damn... even regular medical shops are down with surgical masks forget the n95....

where there is oppurtunity people start making money left right center....

Well you know what they say - what goes around, comes around :cool2:

AFAIK the mask is intended for people with infection, not the other way around. So stop hoarding and profiteering when there are people who actually need it.
 
Somebody Pls Make this Sticky.
I asked few measures from a Doc which we can take to do our best to avoid letting this flu get anywhere close to us:
Use A Facemask Wenever Going Out.
Use lot of Alcohol/sanitizers/Dettol
Use Boiled Water
Wash Hands Many A Times During Day
Avoid Eating Outside Food
Make Sure to Keep Vitamin C Intake in Ur Diet- Lime/Lemon Juice and Drinks
Avoid Public Urinals.
