Need a 24" 1080p monitor to replace my 19" LG flatron.
Purpose: Gaming (PC-1080p and PS3), watching HD movies, Programming.
Budget: 10-12K (max).
My PC is a budget gaming rig with GTX 950 which I will use to game at 1080p. I just play single player games. I also want to connect my PS3 to this monitor, so I need a solution for sound output through headphones. I'd prefer a monitor with in-built speakers (simple ones would suffice). I can buy online or from local shops.
I have zeroed in on the below ones. Dell monitors are costlier while Benq has better ratings and reviews than LG.

1) BenQ-GL2460HM : Price 10-10.5K

Cheaper, TN panel, speakers.

2) BenQ-EW2440L : price 12-12.5K
http://www.amazon.in/BenQ-EW2440L-24-inch-LED-Monitor/dp/B00GWFNMGG
VA panel, costlier, has speakers and audio jack.

Both of these have HDMI but lack DVI port. Does it matter? It would be great if I can keep both PC and PS3 connected.
Other monitor considered: LG-24M38H (http://www.lg.com/in/monitors/lg-24M38H)

There are HDMI switches available for this.
That's great. So some cheap solution like this should work right?
Anyway, most of the monitors have multiple input ports. But I was wondering if I connect the DVI port of the GPU to the VGA to monitor (using the converter that came with the GPU), does it affect the quality?
What would you suggest from the above shortlisted ones? Is it worth spending 2k for a VA panel over TN?

No difference in quality.. I have used a samsung monitor with PC/PS4 combo and found no difference in quality..
Later purchased a VU FullHD TV, where I noticed, VGA display was better than HDMI..

Benq GL2460HM
So I'm better off saving almost 2K for the other one with VA panel? This one has a TN panel which supposedly has not so good viewing angles.
I visited a couple of local shops but no one has them ready for display so I can't just see and make a decision.
