i have MSI 790FX Gd70 and i need a cpu and budget around 9k so help me

If you work with multi core applications like Photoshop, 3Ds Max, Maya and will be keeping this processor for 2 years+ then stretch your budget to 10k and get the AMD Phenom X6 1055T.

Else... Phenom X4 955BE.

Why what has happened if you still have the MSI board, get the Phenom II x4 970 B.E. ~ or the x6 1075T if it falls in your budget

Bench - CPU - AnandTech :: Your Source for Hardware Analysis and News ~ the 970 is a nice overclocker and the 1075T is pretty good for its price on stock

u should either go with a phenom 955be or phenom 2 1055t both are good cpus 1055t i guess is a hexacore and 955be is quadcore either of these should suffice.
