Graphic Cards Need a GPU Advice

Hi ,
I have this friend who wants to purchase GPU for his Rig
his current rig is:
Intel core 2 duo e7500 2.93Ghz
4gb ddr2 ram
Motherboard:Maxtone maxG31PR
PSU:Umax 450 watts

he want's to game at 1600x1024 settings.
games he wants to play are: Skyrim,Batman arkham city,creed revelations and BF3.

Bugdet:10k

Plz reply with ur advice .

some questions:
can his current rig handle these games ?
Is there a need to update certain compnents of his rig?
 
First u need to upgrade your PSU.

FSP SAGA II 400W ~1900 (Only if u have TOP Mount cabinet)

SEASONIC S12II 430W ~2600

Regarding GPU u can choose Sapphire or HIS HD 6790 ~8.2k or Zotac GTX 550 Ti ~7.6k.AMD or nvidia its ur preference.
 
PSU upgrade is must.... Seasonic 430 ~2.6K or Corsair CX 430 V2 ~2.2K (cables of FSP Saga are short)..... Sapphire 6770 ~ 7K .. Thus Total ~9.6K or 9.2K...

Else Sapphire 6790 ~8.2K + any of above mentioned PSU
