Budget 20-25K Need a reliable phone under 25K for my brother

Hey everyone,

My brother is currently using a Narzo 20 Pro and wants to upgrade. The budget is max 25000. Here are his requirments -

1. Good battery life and fast charging.
2. Camera, Build Quality are not main priorities.
3. Performance should be good.

Since he is studying in college right now, the phone should be reliable performance and battery wise to last atleast 3 years. Also, the phone should not have any known issues. I have heard that Poco phones develop motherboard issues. And Redmi Note 12 Pro has battery drain issue despite having a large battery. Please provide your suggestions.

Moto Edge 30 or Moto G82. Edge 30 will get updates till A14, whereas G82 will get only till A13 (dont know when tho). Both have 33w charging and can take around 1 hr to charge.
Do note that edge 30 comes with a 4020 mAh battery, so you can expect it to last around a day. G82 will have the better battery life, but the Edge 30 has the better SoC and is more compact.

I think the poco mobo issues are related to the x3. I have two m3's and both have been running fine. One of them has been flashed with Pixel experience and runs 4 days on low to medium use
My suggestion is to get a 5g phone with a 6nm or better soc, 90 or 120hz display and a 6000mah battery, and run it at 60 hz and 4g.

The Realme 10 Pro Plus is a great option to consider under 25k. It's got a well-rounded set of specs, including 5G, 120Hz display and a 5000mah battery that should last you through the day. Plus, with a Dimensity 1080 processor (Antutu score of 500k), you can expect good performance all around. I'd say it's definitely worth checking out.

Having used a Redmi Note 10 pro for over 18 months,and currently owning poco x4 pro 5G,,I’d say have not experienced any issues till date,of course every device with their own flavour of OS has their shortcomings,its up to you to decide,which you can tolerate,which you can’t,while there are loads of options under 25k,there are only a handful that offer a decent price.
Had short listed Moto G82, G71,Note 11 pro plus,before finally getting poco x4 pro 5G.

I personally have used Edge 30 for enough time before i had to sell it for financial reasons. It is a rock solid device with excellent performance for normal day to day usage. checks all of your requirement boxes and still does more. Light-weight still sturdy and timely updates despite Moto has reputation of slow updates.
I have no expertise in camera so i can not guarantee the performance is better than others but in every other aspect Edge 30 is a finest choice among other devices available on market; whether let it be Chinese or reputed brands. I am still aware Moto is owned by Lenovo now, but Moto has been always remained same in quality.

If you don't have problem with headphone jack and maybe a standard camera than must go for a Moto edge 30. Peace of mind.

Redmi K50i if you want performance only con is miui.
nothing phone 1 is also a great choice you can find it in local market under 25k overall a great phone just bit low on performance.
my brother is personally using nothing phone 1 and he gave up his oneplus 7 pro for it and he is happy with it.

It always lasted me a day even when i was on 5G. my usage was taking document photos-converting pdf, lots of alarms, Youtube, Amazon browsing, normal internet browsing, music listening for almost 1 hour daily and it was going around for minimum 5 to 6 hours SOT always even after 4-5 security patches which came almost every month. There is an adaptive charging and slow charging mode which charges battery a little bit slow but if you go for normal charging then it charges less than 45 minutes from 15-20% to 100%. I had kept display mode on Auto and there were no stutter, slow downs i have ever noticed.

Poco F4 for Performance and Moto edge 30 for clean experience with slow updates

After several updates Nothing Phone 1 seems to be a very great value, if you like the design, I think it is one of the best devices under 30k. QC issues have also been sorted out.
When spending this much, it is not worth getting a BBK company device anymore, everything is now ColorOS and no optimisation on per device basis.

Thank you to all of you for your suggestions. My brother decided to go for Realme 10 Pro+. I recieved the device a few days ago and the battery life and charging speed is absolutely amazing in this phone.
