Need Advice on HT buying.

Hi Guys,

My friend is looking to buy a hometheater.

requirements are that:

Should look good

Should have an optical in

usb support

mkv playback is preferrable

FM

budget: below 20k (+/- 1-2k)

We have currently zeroed on SONY DAV-DZ510 which costs approx 19k and has output of 1000 Watts RMS;)

But it does not have mkv playback

So need help from u guys in deciding an appropriate model which has these features

Nah...He needs a proper Ht...he is not into gadgets and Z5500 don't look good as such in a drawing room.... And NO FM, and the regular stuff like dvd playback with a media player..

Also a dvd player will not have adequate output to support the Z5500...

No,

Onkyo HT3200 is not a player or something,

It is A/V receiver (Amplifier) & 5.1 speaker system (comes with Remote) with tremendous amount of Input option, it have all connectivity HDMI, Component,Composite,Optical Toslink Audio, AM/FM Radio with Antennas.

Though you need a separate player like DVD/BD for Disc and Xtreamer/WDTV/Playon for .mkv & other rips.
