Monitors Need Basic Monitor - 19" wide w/ DVI

Need a monitor for basic internet browsing/movies etc. Which would be cheap and best? Thinking of the basic 19" wide-screen ones.

It will be connected to the DVI out of an 8600GT.

Samsung B 933 or Acer H203H < 20" > both retail around 5.5K ~ 6K mark

The Dell IN2020M is pretty good at 6.5k comes with DVI and is LED backlit and has a max res of 1600x900

Benq G922HDAL(LED). Sells for ~ 5.8k-6k range. Else as Sandy says the IN2020M if you are ok with a 20" monitor.

Hey go for the Dell IN2020M.. I use it for daily computing and work. Works too superfine. A good LED one too! Come with a good backup support from DELL

1. The Dell IN2020 seems good, but no DVI out, its VGA only it seems.

2. The Benq and Samsung are both 18.5" ones with 1366 resolution. I was thinking at least 1440x900

3. Right now the Acer seems good, if I can get hold of a piece.

What other models could I get at this resolution?

Budget cap: 7k maxxx, the lower the better

There is a DVI out option but the cables have to brought in separately, its not inside the pack

Similar model without DVI.

Anyway, so the 2020 jumps to the top of the heap then Lets see if any of the dealers have it in stock.

One is IN2020(no DVI) other IN2020M (has DVI). So mind the name while purchasing
Its available in stock in all metros. So shld be der in Aashirwad or Ankit.
The 18.5" monitors have 1366*768 and 20" have 1600*900 (16:9 ratio) the 1440*900 19" monitors are rare these days (16:10 ratio)

If u can increase ur budget a bit then u can buy a very good 22 incher "BenQ G2220HD ~ 7.6k"... It also comes wid DVI and VGA Cable... But if u really dont wanna increase ur budget then go with what everybody else has suggested...

Upto 20" should be fine. This is for the parents, location is Ludhiana, not Bangalore unfortunately. Lets see if I can find a good dealer here.

Picked up a dell IN2020m. Cost 6750. Needed it urgently so paid up.

Wont make a difference in picture quality so long as you give it DVI input.
