I'm planning to assemble a desktop on my own. I dont want it to be a very high end, expensive machine. Its just something that I need for daily use and for playing a bit
I am not really up-todate with the latest CPUs around in the market and would like to know which series should I be looking at. Also how should I decide to choose AMD / Intel processor.
As far as the processor is concerned here's what I've decided so far
1. 32 bit
2. L1 cache 32kb (what do the mean when they say 32kb + 32kb ?)
3. L2 cache 2 MB (atleast)
I could find intel processors in 32 bit range but could not find any AMD athlon 32 bit processor. Does AMD have a different series for that ?
