Hi guys,

Ive in been facing this problem where my HDMI gives no signal yet my DVI works fine. I was running
CPU i5-3470
MOBO - Asrock z77 extreme 4
GPU - GTX 1060

And i was facing this problem when suddenly once day my display went out. It said HDMI no signal. About a year ago i just let it go coz when i tried DVI it worked again. But recently i bought
CPU i5- 12400f
MOBO - Gigabyte B660m Ax Ds34
GPU - GTX 1060

(Thinking it must be a MOBO problem)

I m still facing the same issue which means MY Gpu is at fault. How can i fix this because i don't wanna spend another 40k on GPU now.
Can it be fixed some how.

And olz dont ask me to check wires and stuff as ive in already tested it by plugging into a TV and same NO HDMI signal.

Plz let me know if this is fixable.

Did you try different cables? A new HDMI cable would rule out cable issues. I've had HDMI cables die over the years for no particular reason and without warning.

For future reference, unless if you're using the onboard connectors of a motherboard, the graphics card's video out capabilities are not affected by motherboard issues.

If it's a hardware issue with the graphics card, it's not easily fixable. However you could try cleaning the HDMI connector on the card with a squeezable blower/duster thing:

1060's can now be had for under 15k.
