Need help in Assembling a general purpose PC (mainly used for share trading)

I am currently using a P3 system that has been too old. It is showing signs of wear and tear and can go to SLEEP forever anytime soon. So, I'm thinking about assembling a new PC (only CPU) which will be only used by my DAD mainly for share trading purpose. Could anyone please help me in choosing the right components. My needs are given below.

1) Cabinet + SMPS

2) Processor

3) Motherboard

4) RAM (prefer 4GB DDR3 1333MHz)

5) HDD (prefer 500 GB/ 7200 rpm)

6) GPU (on-board would be enough)

the General purpose home machine should suit your needs adequately,

if portability is required , an entry level laptop (some models from Toshiba with 14" screens and Pentium dual cores around 18K) should do nicely.

For stock trading and general multimedia , a large screen will be useful, look at a 22" screen if budget allows
