PC Peripherals Need help in getting a PSU

Hey all...

I need a psu upgrade...

Need one that suppport --> Mobo + 8800GT + 1 Floppy power connector for XFi drive + 1 Optical + 1 120mm FAN + 6 SATA HDD's...

The PSU should not be in full load at this also... Meaning if it can handle like 2 or 3 more HDD's.. then great...

Is a vx450 possible?

ANy help appreciated.

asking coz of a stupid thing..

My generic one is 450w... well a very cheap one... it cant even handle 1 optical and 2 HDD's properly..

Isnt both like 450w...??.. if not please explain.
 
no the local psu,s (intex,frontech,or any one wich weight like its 100 t0 200 grams.) r max rated 450 watts n i dun think it will even last 250 watts .. whr vx450 has capabilities of reaching 600 watts+ ..... n can handle ur needs with pleasure ...
 
6 hdds + 1 optical drive...thats a lot!

the vx 450 has enough connectors and juice for all of them, but if you want to add more hdd's you should consider something a bit beefier.
Get something like the hx620 to be on the safe side.
 
Yea...

Me also have those 2 models in mind...

vx450 and hx650 ....

but ebay prices are high i guess... :S
 
got the HX 650 for 6900 recently ... go for the hx if you need a modular power supply if you just want something funtional at that rating go for a tx550 which should be more then enough and cost around 4.8k
