PC Peripherals need help in giving front panel connections

i have intel D865gbf motherboard

i am having a problem in giving the power switch and reset switch connections

in the manual it has ground for pin8 and in for pin6

but i dont know which side is ground

and for pin9 it is given as +5v dc how to give that

Your enclosure should have 4x2 female headers - 2 for Pwr LED, 2 for HDD activity LED, 2 for the Pwr switch and 2 for the Reset switch, the last two could be connected in any way since the switches dont observe polarity.

As for the Pwr LED/HDD activity LED headers, connect the wires observing the color code or the polarity if it's mentioned. If the LEDs dont turn on, just reverse the polarity and that should be it.

Pin#9 is referred to as NC in the legend. Where was it mentioned +5V feed?
