Need help to choose a smartphone

I am thinking of upgrading to smart/windows phone. Some of the models which I have chosen are:

HTC s710 (VOX)
Palm 750
HTC P3400/P3400i
HTC Touch

What I am thinking of is s710 as it has a sliding qwerty keypad (and is also cheap).

Also is a stylus/touchscreen phone really worth to buy apart from the "Style" factor?

Diff. I found in using a stylus/touch phone was finding a contact/address when you are in hurry or in a moving cab.

Typing message etc.

Any help would be great.
 
Out of the ones you mentioned only s710 is a Smartphone(without touchscreen), rest all are PDA Phones(touchscreen) :)

As you mentioned, if u are on the move a lot and need to use ur phone during those times, then a sliding keypad phone would be better be it a smartphone or a pda phone (qwerty pda phones being a bit expensive)... Else i find a pda phone to be better user interface wise.. I use the BT headset with Voice Commander to make calls while on the move...

Also think about what ur priority use would be ... If you need phone features more than pda ones, then a smartphone would serve u well.. Else if the phone feature is just secondary and agenda and PIM functionality is more important to you then a PDA phone would be better..
