Laptops Need help: Toshiba Satellite M45-S359, Replacing DVDROM Drive.

All,

As mentioned in the topic, I need to change the DVDROM device as mine laptop's primary partition went kaput post recovery attempt using Acronis. The DVDROM driver isn't able to read any DVD, hence the laptop cant be boot using any means. Left with no choice I need to replace the DVDROM drive.

Any can some soul please help?

The laptop sadly does NOT support a USB boot
