CPU/Mobo Need help with PSU connectors

Hey guys. Absolute hardware newbie here. I need some help with a new psu. I blew my old one recently and am looking for an upgrade/replacement for my 450w local shitty psu. I have an i5, intel db75en mobo, 8 gb ram, nvidia Zotac gtx650 synergy edition 2gb ddr5 graphics. I went for the corsair vs550 psu. Here's the problem now. The corsair vs550 has 2 x 6 pin and an 8 pin PCI Express Cable. But my motherboard has only a 4 pin slot which i am assuming wouldn't work if i put the 6 pin PCIE cable in it. My Graphics card does not have a 6 pin PCIE slot or any slot for inserting cables for that matter. What options do i have?
Your help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

The motherboard 4 pin connector is an ATX 12V connector not a PCI-e connector. You need to look for an 8-pin cable from the PSU that splits into 4+4 pin.
