Need help with seedbox.

Hi.

I need some help in getting a seedbox for my private trackers. Used to have one few years back. Now no touch.

IPT, which I have..need to build the ratio on it.
FreshonTV just now got an invite..

Advance thanks for any help.

VPS is short for virtual private server. what you get is actually a virtual machine with pre installed os. you can do whatever you want on it. apart from seedbox.

I am using SB-02 plan for 30$ a month...
It's come pre configured, just open your seedbox link, enter username and password and use it like normal utorrent application we use in PC..
 
buying a atom/brazos pc and keeping it up all the time makes more sense than vps if you are in a country where power is not a problem. also you will need a static ip for that.
 
@ m-jeri if you are looking for a cheap and value for money,then get a dedicated server from ovh/oneprovider/online.net (France)
There are lots of scripts lying around to make your dedi into a seedbox.You dont need any linux knowledge to setup or anything.Its very simple and easy.
If you need a 100mbps then its better to go with http://www.kimsufi.com/uk/
for 1gbps you have some options like :

The leaseweb NL servers are one of the best for peering and highspeed as most of the top seedbox providers have their servers on the network.But its also expensive at the same time.Hence you will see a good provider will never give you unlimited upload traffic specially on a NL network.

seedwave.net is also expensive compared to current prices for dedis.
Y buy a seedbox when one can build one easily ? saves a lot of money and you can get a lot more of HDD and speed.

Nope. Already abusing the connection. I have around 20Mbps upload. I think. It slumps to 12Mbps.[DOUBLEPOST=1404913463][/DOUBLEPOST]

I bought the 50Mbps cheapest plan just to see. Yea. I got the log in details and all in under 5 mts. :D

But I do want to checkout the VPS scene also. As it offers better specs, If i figure out how to do things.[DOUBLEPOST=1404913569][/DOUBLEPOST]

I already thought about using my own connection, pogoplugs, atoms etc. I have done those before too. The reason I opened this thread is to get idea about seedboxes, since I don't want to host or utilize anything I already have.

I will definitely join you if its in my means. dont want to spend too much either.

It's quite easy to setup the server search flizbox and if u need help on Linux let me know and remember first close the port because as soon u login first there would several DDOS attack on the server by Chinese
 
Ok. Since I have the seedbox co already, I will get started on seeding.

So now this thread, I am mainly interested in VPS. So can anyone help me out with a good plan so that i can get started? Too many options suggested.
