what should one do if someone backs out of F2F deal after confirming a meetup date.
I got lot of messages every day, some I ignored, some got buried, I couldn't even reply, irking some members.
I turned down many serious buyers because of this F2F commitment.
Now I'm being told that they want the card for over 2 weeks without making any payment.
In this period as an owner, Unnerving that I'd be in the blind about whereabouts of my card, or anything, for over 2-3 weeks.

I informed the mods about my F2F commitment and my original sale thread is also gone. I've lost all legitimate interested people and wasted so many days of my time.

F2F deal but with half or full payment depending upon the condition & warranty left on the card. And giving 15 days testing period is good. If within the said 15 days GPU does not work then the buyer can return the card and take his payment back. This is my opinion.

Wait for other members suggestions also.

Here they are saying they'll pay only 2000 upfront (My sale price was 14000)

Life sucks, gotta move on. Make a note to not deal with this person ever again.

Nobody is entitled to anything. It's a free market, you may sell to whomever you want. Just don't keep people hanging. Maintain a queue, be transparent and stick to it.

You had every reason to. F2F deals are some of the most hassle free transactions.
