Monitors Need suggestions to buy an Lcd monitor

i am planning to buy a 17 inch lcd monitor,can anyone please suggest me a good model,right now i am confused between samsung and viewsonic
and i use my pc for surfing the net and watching movies and doing a few more things,but i wont be playing games on it, but i would like the pictures to be crisp sharp and bright, my budget is 10k to 12k
please advice

You can get a 19" widescren lcd for 12.7k.

19" ViewSonic WS LCD for 11,700 @ SMC, Delhi (Phone price so you'll probably get it even cheaper)

does this viewsonic model has d-dvi input...???? and what response time.... is it good enough for movies and games..... if yes then buy it.....

Both Viewsonic VA1912wb and Viewsonic VA1930WM have 5ms and has DVI so it should be ok
