Need this type of Sev

My sister wants to know where can we get the ultra fine sev found in bhelpuri/ panipuri.
She tried those zero sizes and nylon size but they aren't up to the mark or match at all in terms of thinness with the ones available at any chaat vendor.
Tried in food marts or even online but no luck. We directly inquired the panipuri bhaiyaas but they do not reveal while few said that in Mumbai there's some wholesale market from where we can get it but unsure if thats true or a fluke.

Sister is eating my head forcing to ask all my foodie friends etc.

Can someone help in this regards. I know its kind of weird query but only food and cook enthusiasts might be able to understand and cater.

If its available in other cities we wont mind purchasing.
 
Can't you buy it from the Panipuri/Bhelpuri walas itself. Just ask them to bring whatever amount you need when they go to buy for themselves. I used to buy Papris in big quantities directly from them instead of trying to find their source. Also, in Chandigarh, there are shops which just sell Namkeens generally called Namkeen bhandhars. Try to find something similar in Mumbai.

I have already wasted my precious efforts in such farsan marts who only house typical stuff and when asked for anything specific they lamely reply "aisa branded me ata nahi wo kahi par nahi milega" "koi banata nahi and crap"
I'm 100% sure just like we have whole sale clothing, electronic market there must be something for eateries stuff too. Only a food explorer or a prof. cook might be knowing about such markets.

You are right. But instead of wholesale markets, usually these are factories/manufacturing units who do this kind of specialized work. It's very common in the 'sweets/namkeen' industry for a guy to specialize in one thing and he usually supplies the whole city and even neighbouring areas. A guy I know is a specialist in 'Gulab Jamun' in his area and wholesales at just 90/kg which gets sold upto 400/kg in the same city. He has a manufacturing capacity of 4Tons in a small shed with a handful of workers.

They give excuses if I ask for a kilo or 500g or make excuses. Weird but true. I even offered advance payment yet they have so much attitude as id I'm asking them for their kidney or gold.
