hey freinds, am planning to upgrade my XPS RAM from 2 GB to 3GB.. but for that i need to purchaase another 2GB of RAM and have sacrifice 1Gb of present RAM. So am a bit confused about should i buy the RAM from dell itself or i can purchase it from outside market.. because there is a huge price difference in purchasin it from dell and outside.. dell is damn expensive i.e. about double the pricce am getting frm outside. and its corsair that m getting frm outside. so please suggest me ll there be any problem if i purchase it from outside dell??

no probs in purchasin outside dell. in fact no one here will suggest gettin it from dell 
they l charge u an arm n a leg...n then some :rofl:
just get compatible ram from any dealer and ur ok if u take ur lappy along most of them will prob even upgrade it in front of u for free
