Need topic for my project!!

Hey guys ,I'm doing my final year of M.Sc (I.T) and need some good topic for my project.I cant think of anything that hasn't been done and i'm stumped:S .
Could someone suggest something,maybe something you have done in the past or some site where I can get some ideas?

Well there will be two of us doing the project and probably something in Dot Net.Aslo i'm doing it from Khalsa college at Matunga,Mumbai.

If you plan to go for .NET ,then go for web 2.0 based projects.Asset management , healthcare,billing are some of the projects you can do .You can use webservices(WCF in .NET 3.0) to write buisness logic.LinQ for datbase related transaction.Ajax in the front end.

If you are interested in c++, then you can work on some protocol like sip(session initiation protocol) .There is full source available at vovida.org.

Abt the web application part,I am not very knowledgeable in this area.Some part of the information I provided may not be correct.
