Laptops Need Urgent HELP !

Two laptops one an hp 6110nx and the second a toshiba satellite A75S-226 .

both have problems .
they belong to my sis ,she got em repaired locally ,but in vien .Now needs them for her research work.
some advice where to get em repaired for good!
here is a summary

The hp one :
1.The LCD backlight turns off after jus seconds into booting.
2. Hp gave a quote for 22k to replace the display panel.so i got it repaired locally they changed some "service coils",charged me 3k,it worked for a month,then the same problem occured again...got it done once more this time they charged 2.5k for some "chip".still after a month same problem.

The Toshiba one :
1. Would shut off randomly.(I suspected psu problem/overheating).got it repaired locally worked fine .charged 4.7k said he changed some "chip".
2.off late the Power adapter pin was loose in the socket and had to be pressed else it wudnt charge the battery.So took it to the loacal cahp he did not change the pin but rather the he changed some "chip" .charged 2k
3.still it doesnot work!
ive taken the HDDs out,using an extern case , copied her research data:) .

please suggest a reliable place to get them repaired .i am from delhi .

well i might have to contact him i guess but first wanted to check for solutions in delhi.

btw jus went to a toshiba service center they daignosed (charged 750rs)
they claim the mobo is defective (stating its "power section" is faulty) and has to be replaced ! 17k is the "aproximate" charges!
is this really a joke!

how much wud a psu for a lappy cost are they available seperately?
any one with any insight on laptop repairing please lemme know if im bieng looted?

the toshiba lappy powers up n boots up if u keep holding the power pin at a particular position:O. on inspection i found its socket damn loose ?
how does one go about fixing that ?
