What is NetMeter???:huh:



NetMeter is a small, customizable network bandwidth monitoring program for

Windows 95/98/98SE/ME/NT4/2000/XP.

NetMeter is and will always stay freeware.

The program has been tested extensively on Windows 2000 and XP,

but it should work just as well on all other Win32 operating systems.



Let's you measure the amount of data in and out of your system and gives very detailed reports.

Excellent tool and last but not the least... Its a FREEWARE!!! :tongue:

Oops.... Am not sure how the link is broken... I see medpal has given an alternative link.. Let me know whether i need to reupload the exe somewhere else... thanks for pointing out anyways... Hey anish, the main function i liked in netmeter is the Totals & Reports functionality. Netmeter gives this daily,weekly, monthly wise.. so thought a real good tools esp our broadband service providers are putting a cap on the download limit...:-) What else DU Meter provides?? Also is it a freeware?? Just let us know...Thanks anyways...

This one works. But I fail to understand the utility of this software.

been using it from past 1 yr! good if ur on broadband and pay for per mbs downloaded or on a limited 400mb-1gb per month connection and want to monitor ur usage.

hope now u know the utility of this software :)
 
I have newbies questions about NetMeter.

I have a personal network with 3 computers. Will Netmeter monitor the internet usage of the 3 computers on my network. Or does it monitor only the computer on which it is installed?

Another question: If you have many Windows identities, will Netmeter monitor each identities separately or will it monitor the computer as a whole (putting all the identities datas together).
And should I install it on each identities?

I didn't find answers to these questions anywhere, including on the Netmeter web site (there isn't any FAQ or any kind of support).
