network wizards seem to be grayed out

as mentioned above

i cannot use my router in bridged mode as none of the dialup connections work...

most of the options in my newtork wizard are grayed out...

its because of the telephony service whic refuses to start...

no matter wat it refuses to start

i tried a couple of kb articles on ms. didnt seem to work

can anyone help me out...
