Networking problem in VMWare

I have a BSNL EVDO USB modem connection in my Windows 7.Just got an Asianet Broadband connection and want to use this with my VMWare XP.

How can i configure this??

I suppose you are using VMware Workstation or player. If yes you can use inbuilt NAT or Bridge functionality. Go to the settings of the VM and change the NIC settings.

Use NAT. Thats the simplest solution. Leave the IP configuration on VM to automatic. If you have a local LAN and want the VM to have IP in same range, then use bridge and set the IP manually. And you have to provide gateway also for internet connectivity.
