A few weeks back I was browsing this site for reviews on studio 1555, but since its a new model I hardly found any. I went ahead and bought it anyway. Thought I would help people who are yet to decide . Hope my pictures give you an idea of the all new Studio 1555.
 
Hi, sorry for the delay in replying to your queries. Studio 1555 is actually the new studio 15. The old studio 15 was Studio 1537.

Well, I had to shell out 53k for this but I dont regret it because I guess this is excellent value for money.

Yes, I bought it straight from DELL. The ones sold by local dealers are not the latest. It took 12 days to get delivered though.
 
Hey Deepak... Man, The pictures are quite Nice !

i got the same laptop and the colors do not seem to be properly callibrated to me ... Whats your take on this ?
 
^ well . .any half-decent program can not go about callibrating an lcd with problem from the hardware bit.
I've used all the tools, my friend even used Spyder on his but as the manual brightness/contarst controls are not present, the callibration did not come out nice.
This has been an issue everywhere in the world where it has been launched that the blue looks a bit purplish, setting the hues to the max resolves the issue with the blue but then the red becomes dark pink.
Its annoying :-(
I've talked to dell and waiting for the response.
 
I too ordered mine couple of days back and couriered the D.D today. :hap2:
Now waiting for delivery. Any tips or advice for me too guys? :ashamed: :cool2:
