Got a call from this ISP. Looks impressive. It's an MNC.

Wow looks good. But introductory rates are high. Dont know about rates in NCR but in Tata Indicom gives 128kbps unlimited on 900 rs/month.

They also didnt mention the Technology in details. Just mentioned Fiber optics and stuff.

In what way are they impressive? Their plans and pricing are definitely not, and besides, you can't judge an ISP until you've used them

Primus? What's new about it? I heard it has been in Delhi for ages... first I heard that it was good, but apparently that was all hype and most people then started saying it was crap.

its old one.even i heard abt it a long time ago...its too pricy anyways...128kbps unlimited for 1k...Airtel gives 256 kbps unlimited in tht price...

dunno about speeds and pings but these prices are quite bad. like someone mentioned.. 192kbit for 1450 is horrible.

this was custom made for me by my cousin...dunno KVA & all...i connect all my computer stuff & made it run on battery for ~7 hrs...
has 2 big batteries.

Even thier leased line services & VOIP are crap? We have a leased line from VSNL. Just wanted to know some user comments about this ISP.

I can't comment much... I have not used their ISP service, and in any case, leased line is quite different from regular internet services (though if a company is bad, I guess it is just plain bad...)
