I own a pair of A151 which are balanced armature IEM - and they are one of the best IEMs I've tried on below $100. I have a pair of CC51 (black) which a friend brought recently - and they sound really really nice as well (I've just spent a few minuted with them). The SP51 are similar to Hippo VB but Joker on Head-Fi rated them higher than the originals.

What do you refer as 'original' here? If you were referring to Hippo VB, it's still ahead in SQ as well as overall rating chart. Is it something else you are referring to?

Oh? I thought he rated SP higher than VB. My bad but they are $20 cheaper than the VB's. Anyway my personal recommendation is the A151 - a bit tough to snag but really fantastic pair. I've tried the CC51 for a bit, having some fit issues but the bass on these is marvellous and everything else is comparable to A151. Ordering two pairs, if I get CC51 then nice, else I'll give these away to friends.
