Hi Friends.
Off late i have started to miss a PC in my life hence am planning to buy one.
Have been browsing though different threads since last few days and have zeroed on below mentioned config.

Budget is 35k for now. Purpose will be playing HD contents, some office work and ofcourse gaming :hap2:.
Need everything that is required to run a PC ,other than speaker(have old strero speakers for now, planning to buy Home theater system later)

Processor : AMD Phenom II X2 550BE @-- 5350
Mobo : Biostar TA790GXB A2+ @-- 4500
RAM : Corsair 2x2gb XMS2 @-- 3300
HDD : Segate 500 GB @-- 2400
Monitor : Samsung P2350(23" Full HD) @--11800
Cabinet : Cooler Master Elite 335 @--2100
PSU : Corsair VX 450 @-- 4200
Optical Drive : Samsung DVD writer @-- 1100
UPS : APC 500 VA @-- 1900 (will this be able to handle load??? power backup of even 5 min will be ok with me)
Graphics Card : Sapphire/Powercolor HD4850 512MB DDR3 @-- 6850

Keyboard+mouse : Not decided yet , budget will be max 2000 -- Please suggest(wireless preferred)

now problem is, this config is going way above my budget
So i have decided to put graphics card on hold for now (Planning to buy it after 2 month after i am able to do some savings, budget will be 7000-7500). Hope IGP will be able to handle movie playing and gaming at low res till i get a proper gfx card.

Please let me know if this config looks balanced.Suggest any changes or better component at similar price point.

Wise choices. :) Everything is almost perfectly balanced. I am running almost a same rig with VX450 on a 500VA APC UPS. I get at least 5 mins back up. But I'd recommend the 650VA version. Because 500VA delivers 300W where as 650VA delivers ~400W. Which means the maximum power consumed by your machine can be up to 240W for 500VA and 320W for 650VA.

If you can get the xms2 2x2GB kit at 330 its fine. But I think corsair RAM prices has gone up and you can consider the OCZ C4 2GB from TheITWares here

Yes, the IGP is able to play HD content. And for a 23" Full HD monitor, a 4870 (~9k) is minimum for gaming at high settings. But after launching the DX11 cards, price might drop. :)

Thanks Sabby for confirming on these :)
I wanted to go for Mobo you are having (128 M one) but then i would not be doing CF and also will be going for a discrete gfx card anyway, so decided to save some money there ;)

UPS ..if money permits will go for 650VA else may have to live with 500VA one itself :(

OCZ one's looks good..may go for those only depending on availability at time of buying (right now out of stock)

btw how did we deduce this ???

Initially was planning to get a smaller monitor and buy a gfx card now only, but then monitor is something which i feel we do not upgrade that often unless absolutly necessary so decided to go for biggest available in my bugdet.

But after launching the DX11 cards, price might drop.
praying for same :p...hope to get 4870 itself in my budget then...

Any suggestion for this??

I suggest:-

HD4770 Sapphire with Arctic Accelero Cooling @ 7.4k
Get Gigabyte 460W (80PLUS) efficiency @ 2.5k
Cooler Master Elite 334 @ 1.8k

Saves your money!!!
