PC Peripherals New sound card from Audiotrak - Prodigy 7.1 XT

^ AFAIK More capacitors, less the amount of noise that seeps through!

I think the changes seem to be in the design and there are new OP-AMPs as well. Plus the OP-AMPs can be swapped too.. Where's Chaos? ;)

Looks like a nice card... The user swappable op amps is real cool. The big question though is what dacs the card uses!

Anyone have any idea how good the Maya 5.1 is ? Listed for Rs. 1768/- on the Setron website .
i think the reviews were ok .. maybe wait for chao or amol ;) you planning to do any recording ?

^ Not that i'm considering it. Just thought it was priced around the same price point as the SB live 24-bit, so was wondering if it was a good option :)

can't find what APU it uses. No reviews on what kind of components it uses either, so cant coment. Also the Maya 7.1 was a failure, so i guess this one isnt that great either. Try getting a prodigy 7.1. Should be worth the money.

^ Thanks for the info. Either way like zhop mentioned, it seems to have only a 16-bit DAC. In that case, doesnt look to be worth it.
