Hi Friends

I am planning to buy a soundcard.....

I am buying this for high quality recording with mic and for listening music ....

please suggest me some cards :cool2:
 
between 5k and 10k

i have one doubt ...if I am buying ^^^these types of brands.. is there any chance for lagging in games??

i really like xonar essence stx ..but it comes with a pciE socket

my pcie slot is occupied with avermedia tv tunercard

is there any way to connect a pcie in to a normal pci slot.....i mean any adapters???

or

is there any other xonar product or any other brand with same capability of essence stx????
 
For games its good supports EAX 5.0, for music is just OK but better than onboard and other cheap creative card...

Compared to Xonar and other Asus and EMU sound cards it pales in terms of sound quality....I just jumped from xtrememusic to Xonar DX and I feel a huge improvement in mids and midbass..I really mean huge :)...
 
avoid Razer Barracuda AC-1 at all costs as it is not worth 6k which it sells for

even Asus Xonar D1/D2/DS/HDAV1.3 Slim (PCI) which costs 4k beats it

buy Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer/Auzentech X-Fi Prelude if more Gaming & Movies

buy Asus Xonar D1/D2/DS/HDAV1.3 Slim (PCI) if more Music

yes it is exactly same only diff is the interface.. dx is pciX nd D1 is pci slot card
