Look at the specs and tell me if this doesn't make you :clap:

Specs:
Dual core 1.5 GHz processor
Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich or ICS)
4.5 inch 720P resolution Super Amoled Display screen :ohyeah:

It seems Google is "stepping on gas" to get it released in time of Iphone 5 release.

Take that Apple Iphone 5. Truly a beast of a phone to come out yet for beloved Android. Guess how many people will line up for Iphone 5 after looking at this.

Guess how many people will look at Galaxy S2 now?????? It will be truly taken over by the beloved Nexus.

I guess Samsung will soon be the No:1 mobile phone manufacturer and Nexus Prime should really be a Prime model to look for..

It should and will have 8 MP camera. Because nowadays 8 MP has become a norm for an high end smartphone. In the future (not distant) we should be looking at 12 or higher MP cameras.

What is N8? ;)

It would be more appropriate to call the N8 as 'A camera with a phone' than as 'A phone with a camera' ;) (No offense to fanboys :P)

Jokes aside, Samsung's flagships are getting more and more difficult to fit inside the pocket.

While Toshiba Regza is impressive in terms of camera, why are they releasing it with 2.1?

@rhlravi

More screen to love :) But what I am waiting for is to see the 720p resolution screen on 4.65 inch screen. That would be absolutely stunning ;)

True.

But if this Samsung's flagship screen size has gone from 3.7"(Omnia II/Omnia HD) to 4.0"(GS) to 4.3"(GS2) to 4.65"(Nexus Prime), are they aiming for a 5-incher next? Are they trying to make a half-phone/half-tablet?

One small problem is, with the SuperAMOLED family of screens, Sammy has struggled to keep up high volumes of production and hence, or otherwise unable to keep the cost of the phone down to make it a "mass selling" phone, especially in the developing markets (Come on! Not everyone can afford to spend 30k on a mobile phone!). Due to this, an LCD brother of its flagship is rushed in, which removes the one of the USPs of the phone. I hope this will not happen with this one at least.

Finally, i am very happy that Samsung is making this phone because it is one of the manufacturers who is genuinely interested in the Indian market. If HTC or Motorola had made it, i doubt if it would have arrived at the Indian shores at all, forget arriving late (remember the Nexus One which never arrived officially? And Moto for some reason never releases its best phones like Milestone 2, Droid X here).
