CPU/Mobo No display on screen. MOBO related

Hi ..

suddenly my pc went blank and no display

and when i tried rebooting there was no diplay ..i am using 8600 GT

i tried to use onboard video so disconnected GFX card and connected to onboard video .. but still there is no display..

i connected my LCD to laptop. and there was display so the LCD is fine i dont know whts the problem

Please help me guys

my mobo is 915 GAV Intel motherboard...

i tried disconencting all peripherals ram , HDD and still no display..

more over i dont know why .. from the begining itself there in no onboard sound / BEEP so i cant figure out whts the problem ..

Please help me guys...

TRY THESE

1.clean the ram sticks(contact points) with the eraser..
2.Try resetting the BIOS to default..

u got any burnings or cap leaks on ur mobo ??
 
Can you please edit the first post and put the complete configuration including the power supply? Its also will be really appreciate if you can remove the extra dots- I am sure 1 dot does the same as many- except the difference your posts look neater easier for the person to read.
 
Might b the prob is with the mobo IC .........
Try to crosscheck with the rams....If rams r working fine i doubt the mobo.....
Faced the same prob with my asus nobo years back ......
 
if ur psu is the local generic 1 then try a diff psu.cud me psu +12v rail isnt supplying enuf juice to pwr up thesystem.
 
remove all the cables !

remove all the removable parts from ur Motherboard !

clean them *

reinsert firmly*

do a total BIOS reset*

90% chance ur PC will boot...

if it doesnt... theres a problem with ur GPU/RAM/PSU etc etc..
 
Do you see PSU fans moving?

Try getting a spare RAM from your frnd and try that.

I think its an issue with your GFX. Go to Bios and change the video setting to Onboard.

After putting the GFX card Bios video settings change to PCI-E.Select Onboard and restart your pc.

sorry for bumping coz i bought a new PSU yesterday and tried... and the system boots .. but still no disaplay , and after few seconds later CPU fan again goes off and system switch off...

please help me
 
I think your mobo has gone kaput but still try one more thing by trying your friends rams in your pc, another problem could be that your proccy might have gone kaput.
 
i bought a new one ( PSU ) so i think PSU issue can be ommitted , next the ram are also good , since i removed them and heard the typical sound , so ram is also good.

i have one doubt , in the bios resetter jumper , the small balck one is missing and now the bios jumper is set to " Bios REcovery mode " instead of normal , i mean connectin 1&2 pins ? wht to do ?

and how to know which is gone ?

i doubt MOBO / cpu problemn now
 
get a jumper and according to the manual where it says 1-2 and 2-3 set the bios jumper accordingly. And do it by removing your cmos battery.

If that too fails, remove the board from the cabinet and test it outside on wooden table or on a newspaper with only ram, psu, processor and the board on its onboard display.

If that too wont succeedd then 101% your mobo gone kaut.

had same issues 5yrs back with my 915gav mobo---replaced it 3 times within 2 months of purchase.:@:@
 
REST Bios ..It will be done.. Even my friend had this strange problem.. reset bios ( By removing Battery on the motherboard ) and cleaned ram..PC back to normal
