Forum Feedback No explanation provided for post removal

Right off the bat, I'd like to state that this is not a rant thread and I am only trying to figure out the logic behind such moderation. My post in this thread (http://www.techenclave.com/topic/513380-supreme-court-bans-use-of-all-type-of-tinted-car-glass-films/) was removed without providing any reasons. Was the content, which can be seen quoted, against any of TE's posting rules or for some reason managed to irk the mods?

Again, removal of the post is not the important point. I just want to know if mods can remove any content which they do not agree with. I believe such an action portrays misuse of power. I'd like mods/admin to make things clearer for me and everyone else who might have a similar question.

I just had a look at the deleted posts.

The issue was not with your post. There was another post before yours that was reported by a member as offensive and hence deleted. Your post was a reply quoting his post, hence deleted as well.

Edit: Restored your post, and removed the quoted content.

P.s.: The moderating system cannot send reasons along with deleted posts as of now, so not much can be done there at the moment. PM'ing everyone would be quite a burden,
