just noticed that in some threads the no. of replies are greater than no. of views!!!

AFAIK no of views are allwars>=no of replies.

 
^ I think the views are not updated instantly, they are time bound, refreshed after a particular time period, but replies are instantly added that's why, check the same thing after 10 minutes you would find it ok, i hope ;) ofcourse, for locked threads it would be different.
 
i made view counter update every hour actually.
updating real time is possible but is a hog on system resources. Right now every hour all counters are updated with singe query.
