hey robo...if u did bank transfer and the payment is yet to be approved, then theres something wrong.better check with ebay.happened to me once
 
Guys better use PaisaPay instead of direct NetBanking with Unknown Vendors, try to use your Debit Cards if you don't have credit Card.

Peace of Mind of the buyer.

BTW, regarding awaiting payment approval, I'm not sure but I think sometimes it happens when the buyer uses the credit/debit card or bank account for the first time on ebay. I used 2 different cards for various purchases and for the first time use of each card, pending approval for about 12 hrs, but when I used these cards for the 2nd time it was approved instantly. I'm not sure but I think this might be possible.

If securecode is incorrect, payment fails there itself when u did the transaction

Dealers pay 4% paisapay charges + 1% ebay fees = 5%.

A 10% coupon is still a better bet! for anything lesser than Rs. 20,000 if you wish to pick up directly from the seller.
 
I talked to dealer..he told that they will ship the item on Saturday or Monday, but now I think that because of many orders, shipment for some people might be delayed..

regarding the credit card, they verify it for first time, and save the data. that's why after 1st time they won't ask for verification. so whenever you use a new credit card for your account they will ask for verification.. almost every e-commerce site do that..

If I am not wrong, deal of the week items are not charged any fee or paisa pay charges by the ebay. They get quotes from the dealers/sellers for the items and cheapest ones are chosen. This is the reason why ebay is not allowing discount coupons to be used on the deal of the week items.

Cos I had actually directly spoken to one of the guys for a laptop and he was willing to give it to me at 5% lesser than ebay price as that is what he was paying ebay.

just yesterday only I bought that item from deal of the week, used a 10% coupon which was supposed to be expired 2 weeks ago. :P and I'm sure that more then 10 people have done so..

is it for the deal of the week item? (I have mentioned that if I am not wrong :P. I came to know about it from a dealer, but it may not be correct also)

@ foruamit2004, codes work due to some mistake from the ebay's side. They have specifically started to mention in the codes that its not for the deal of the week items. Even I have used a expired coupon and it worked, may be ebay is allowing it purposefully.
