Ok I got the following stuff on 3rd August 2010, Tuesday from SMC International Nehru Place, New Delhi.

I was hesitant to make this thread(Jealously!!), you can make that out by viewing the date of purchase and today's date, but since people were asking so had to do this.

Photos were clicked on the day of purchase.

Here is the list:

1. AMD Phenom II X6 1090T --> NO OC till now.

2. MSI 890GXM-G65 and 4GB G.Skill RipJaws CL7 1600Mhz RAM

3. Cooler Master 430 Cabinet with 2 Extra 120mm Cooler Master Fans

4. Cooler Master RealPower 550W --> NOT NEW, I just bought the above stuff, rest is all already owned.

5. MSI R4850 1GB OC Edition --> Again not new, but never ran at full potential due to bad Proccy and PCIE 1.0 MOBO.

IMAGE with the motherboard.

Now till now the performance was ok and satisfactory over my old Pentium D.

Here is the complete hardware report from Everest, can someone check and confirm whether everything is alright ?

RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

The temperatures as per Everest:

Are these alright ? These are idle temps when the PC is just started.

Also at load CPU temp reaches above 55 C, is this ok ?

The RAM is showing 1333Mhz even though its 1600Mhz :(, any fix for this ?

Thanks to all those who helped and suggested this setup, your suggestions really helped! :)

Will be updating this thread often.

wow,, nice processor...n i'm jealous :p...btw, what are the damages ??

lol...forgot to congratz you ...out in curiosity...

CONGRATZ for this awesome purchase...

"CPU Fan speed : 6172 rpm"

Is this a stock fan or you purchased any after market cooler??

And check this link:

http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=prodmbspec&maincat_no=1&cat2_no=&cat3_no=&prod_no=2012

There in the DDR3 Memory section, its mentioned "DDR3 800/1066/1333/1600*/1800*/2133*(OC)".

So, 1600MHz rating got a *. That means it does support 1600MHz but that would be after OCing it (just a wild guess, wait for someone who knows more about this.)

@Sei
