Not able to update Nokia 5800 Firmware

One of my friend have a Nokia5800 xpress music with firmware version v21, i tried to update the firmware to the latest version v50, but the "software updater" is only showing v30 version. So i updated it into v30. Now both ovi and nokia pc suit are saying that the device is up to date(v30),but he need v50 for new features like kinetic scrolling etc...what to do? I searched the net, but it looks like no one had this kind of trouble:S
 
If you are new to this then you should read every tutorial properly

the problem is of the product code - not all firmwares are released for every product code

There are 2 methods to install v50 on your friend's phone -

1]Change the product code and then install the new firmware - not recommended by me as it is old method

2]Try searching for how to install a custom firmware on 5800 -

download navifirm and there you can download original 5800 latest firmware and then you can install the firmware downloaded through method suggested by the tutorial you got through google :)

So the v50 firmware is only available for some 5800's? why do nokia do something like that:huh:
He don't need custom firmware, just need the official version which can be updated normally through pc suit.

its simple

hope you know to how to change product code, search in google otherwise ask for help here

for some indian codes,its struck at v30

latest is actualy v52.0.101

change to APAC india Black (what ever your phone coulour is)

Stick to APAC India codes only (only 4-6 codes are there)

FYI I changed product code long back and updated to v40,then to v50, and v52

make sure you do a factory reset after update to improve performance

I have changed the product code still not working.It says no updates available.
0573797: APAC2 India Black
0559961: APAC2 India BLUE
0559673: APAC2 India RED

I m using latest ovi suit which is 3.2.100
