Finally got my first automatic watch. Had always wanted a good automatic watch but the Swiss are too expensive and the Chinese are too unreliable. So enter the Japanese.
I dont know how many here are aware Orient watches. They have been making very good watches at reasonable prices for 60 years. They are owned my Seiko, but still remain a separate entity making their own in house automatic movements.
Its basically the same watch which our grandfathers used to wind before going to bed, but here the spring gets loaded as i move my hand. The transparent case back will display the working of the watch. Just normal day to day routine will be enough to power an automatic watch. The power reserve indicator at 12 position shows how many hours its good to go.
Got it through ICCWorld.
Total damages including shpping from US and customs 10k . But its still better looking and cheaper than the Tissot V8 i am currently wearing.
Excuse the crappy pics from my spica
