Congrats on the panel! Do check for any instances of backlight bleeding. Hopefully there're none.

Guys, can anybody tell what these ports do??

1 Digital Visual Interface connectors (DVI-D) with HDCP
1 DisplayPort (DP)
1 Video Graphics Array (VGA)
1 USB 2.0 upstream port
4 USB 2.0 downstream ports
DC power connector for Dell Soundbar

I know the use of VGA, what about others... whats difference b/w first two??
What USB ports are meant for?? :ashamed:
Also, which connectivity mode should I obtain for among DVI and VGA :p
Plus, can anybody guide me with best way to calibrate monitor for free (no sypders :p) Not happy with current calibration. Tried calibration option of Win 7

1 DisplayPort (DP) - Connect to displayport on your gfx card (if it has one)

1 Video Graphics Array (VGA) - Connect to vga port on your gfx card. This is analog video. Use either DVI or DP for better quality.

1 USB 2.0 upstream port - Connect to usb port on your motherboard.

4 USB 2.0 downstream ports - Use these as extra usb ports, for connecting pen drives or any other usb devices.

DC power connector for Dell Soundbar - Used if you get the dell soundbar speaker.

Does it mean, downstream ports acts just like normal usb ports present on motherboard and these are given just to ease the connectivity??
