Surgeon asked to arrange for fresh blood [said to be strict ..]

Have shared info with my friends on whatsapp group (guys in pune and one from bangalore), assuming they have forum in their companies for mass communication to spread the word. Hope something comes up well.

looks like blood donors lists are circulated among many groups.
contacted some persons through SMS - so far not much hope ..

also trying on MillionGenie app [web link] - hoping for the best ...

Yeah. I can see your request in the homepage, along with other requests. Why don't you use the "find your blood donor" search box and call/sms everyone in the list? I can see over a hundred O+ve donor numbers from Hyderabad.

so far we could get 4 units of blood donation.
This might fulfill our main requirement.

will request again if it is necessary.

In current age of social networking, getting blood should have been walk in the park, i assumed. 100 different people should have been in line waiting to help, i expected. At least for something which doesnt cost a thing for donor.

Hope things get better.
