OK i threw my K750i at a wall. What next?

got pissed off, threw phone at wall. whole panels is broken, 5 pieces. LCD is cracked. phone is working, able to sync with my phone explorer and send SMS, make calls from there.

so i'm sure only the LCD and panels are bust. now shud i fix up the phone? I really like the phone :( if yes, how much will both cost?
 
u like the phone n threw it:S....nywayz be ready to spend some buxx...its gonna cost u sme moolah!..sony spares are harder to find n costlier too..but since its k750i u mite b lucky to find some old piece....
 
Man i feel sorry for your phone. SE is always flimsy ones. When my friend bought T100 it was the sexy phone that time. he dropped just 3 feet above the floor the phone broke that too in a month of purchase. Later we bought 6630 he got unusually dropped in the moving car @ 80 kmph:S case damaged everything is working. I dropped accidentally from 1st floor and thrown several times over the wall nothing happened except 3 keys from keypad missing and some pixel defects. I have a soft corner on my phone which worked loyally for 3 years. If i broke my phone it would be good excuse for a new one:D
Happy hunting for a new phone. My advice dont go for slim phone if you are short temper person like me.
I broke 3 tata indicom phones within 1 week of purchase. I feel nokia is best in candy bar phone

The LCD with a new cover/casing should cost arnd 1000 bucks min in SP Road. try Ninja Telecom in SP Road, u should be able to get the spare parts :)
 
digest dis nokia phone droppd from 3rd floor building...nothin hppnd..jus the battery n cover got thrown away...phone works...as it was..:D...
 
I got the lcd panel of w550i cracked . Lcd panel = 1800 rupees .. front glass( also cracked ) = 400 rupees . If i sell that phone it will hardly go for 3k or so but still it works great after repairs .
 
If it's just the LCD and the cover, you can avail them from eBay(chinese desi stuff), genuine is here and make your hands dirty fixing it. I disassembled a k750 totally and it was easy to assemble it back. (the pics aren't mine)

Now again if you are really willing to fix it, find a good LCD module, i would say first try in local market if you can find one as k750 is the most selling sony ericsson phone. Follow the opening up guide and replace the module.

what the main diff between genuine and fake LCDs? I need a W800 panel as well, thisone is totally borken...
 
You really need a nokia 1100 :p mine flew off my dashboard and out the window when i was cornering at 60, and it suffered only a scratch :p
 
Bo re, my K750 was good :p all plastic parts were rattling, but no matter how much i dropped the phone, it would still work.

Only this time i threw the hpone at the hard ground with all my force. and just a borken LCD, amazing!
 
Hmmm...what next? I'll get teh LCD and fix it sometime...

Now i'm thinking good phone or a basic phone + dedicated player? I do listen to lots of music on my phone...

But looks like SE plastic is not of Nokia's quality.

But I like their phones somewhat. Much better usuability like right size of candy bar and easy to use buttons. Screens are nice and bright too and given the overall smaller candy bar size compared to Nokias, the screen size is good.
