Storage Solutions Old laptop HDD

My old laptop HDD is lying idle for a few months now. It is from a 10 year old Dell laptop that no longer works. I took the HDD out after it died. Is there any way to check if it is working on not? Do we have a case for small internal laptop HDDs to connect to a desktop or laptop? Or should you consider it done and move on?

It is Seagate Laptop Thin HDD.

there are SATA to USB connectors if u want it to use as external harddisk

you will also find it locally for cheap on any computer shop. plus you might also ask the shopkeeper the check it for you and save some money on connector all together
