looks awefull... installed the latest image on my lapy and the fonts, dash icons, top panel is awefullly big..
 
There is no option for configuring your desktop (i.e. setting font, adding themes, etc.)

Connecting to internet using tata photon+ was very problematic :(
 
@deep had u used 11.04 or is it your first ubuntu distro with unity interface?
i want to know whether the icons n dash look worse then the previous release
 
i also did not like the unity and thinking of moving back to Debian+KDE.

Software center revision, ALT+TAB and login screen change with GNOME 3 but no difference i felt from 11.04
 
Just noticed a little nifty tidbit - while installing beta2 on my laptop just now (which has a webcam) the installer asks to select a user logon picture from a list of icons and also lets you capture a photo off the webcam :D
 
yeah agree .. I once used to like Gnome but now Unity and Gnome 3 is far from my desirable standards :( I am thinking of switching to KDE ! :)
 
just installed 11.10 with gnome shell .. with font size 0.8 ... looks super cool. yu guys should definitely try gnome shell:hap2:
