organizer and scheduler on WinXP

Is there any organizer and scheduler program for windows xp.

except outlook...
it's too heavy to run.....
makes computer slow... after running for more than 2 hours.
any idea????
 
what kind of activity do you want to schedule?

I use Outlook as my primary scheduler but for repetitive events like birthdays and anniversaries I use Miniminder. It is small and does exactly what I need. I can set how much in advance I want a reminder for each event. Its database is a simple text file so I was able to populate it from an existing excel file.

try Rainlender (google it). Basic functionality + Neat looking .
