Hi all,
I have a P4 rig and DDR 1 RAM on sale. It gives decent performance in games and movies. Great for a D/L rig . It can run HD movies too, provided you add a decent graphics card.
PS: This rig was bought from TE member Arun.P sometime back here . I have added some extra components like RAM, TV tuner card and cooling fan.
Rig contains the following components.
1. Pentium 4 socket 478 2.8Ghz 533MHz FSB
2. Intel 865 GBF Mobo
(with backplate, has a very minor issue with the PS/2 onboard keyboard connector. Also, I am not sure whether some RAM slot(s) are faulty because I am using 2 sticks of 1GB in slot 1 and 3 and it is working absolutely fine. Due to limitation of 32 bit CPU, you wont be able to use RAM size more than 3GB)
3. 2 X 1GB Transcend DDR 1 RAM 400MHz
4. AGP 8X Geforce 5500 FX 256MB
5. VIP 400R SMPS
6. Compex 10/100 LAN card
7. Cabinet
Free stuff:
1. Techcom analog TV Tuner Card with remote (IR receiver not working for some reason. I change the channels manually using PageUp/PageDown keys)
2. 512 MB DDR RAM (got this when I bought the system from Arun.P)
3. LAN card (working when checked last)
4. FDD drive (again, got this when the system was bought...has some dust in it
)
5. Dlink 56K fax modem (with box, driver CD and telephone/RJ11 cable)
No HDD, cables will be provided.
No warranty and bill available on any of the product.
I have got 1GB DDR 1 Corsair RAM too, in working condition.
